Youth Groups at Shinfield
Shinfield has two youth groups, the senior youth group is for 13 to 17 years olds and the junior youth group is for 8 to 14 year olds
Senior Youth Group
Senior youth group meets on Friday evenings between 7pm and 9pm during term times for 14 to 18 year olds. In a relaxed atmosphere it presents youth members three performances a year as well as opportunities to be involved in SPT productions (pantos, musicals). All activities of stage craft are covered during the course of a year - including acting, staging, make-up, singing, dancing as well as theatre games. At £40 per year, it offers excellent value for money. Although the group is full at present there is a waiting list for anyone who would like to join, as a guide it generally takes about a year to move from the waiting list to joining the group.

Junior Youth Groups
Junior Youth Group - School Years 4 - 7(8 - 11 year olds) and Middle Youth Group - School Years 7 - 9/10 (11 - 14 year olds) "
Junior Youth Group School Years 4-7 , (8 - 11 year olds) meets on Wednesdays between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm and Middle Youth Group School Years 7-9/10, (11-14 year olds) meets on Wednesdays between 6:45 pm and 7:45 pm, during term-time.
We present a Christmas Show and a Summer Show and the groups give youngsters an opportunity to explore drama, singing and stagecraft in an informal setting.
There is currently a waiting list and membership fee for the year is £40.
